External Integration Cost

The project was successfully deployed without the use of an external integrator, relying solely on internal resources.

Accelerated

Deployment

The entire digital workspace project was completed in a compressed timeframe, highlighting the solution's ease of configuration.

Reduced

Publication Time

By empowering departments to publish content autonomously, the time required for internal teams to disseminate news was significantly streamlined.

Autonomous Publishing

‍The contribution center allows departments to publish their news directly, bypassing the lengthy communication process.

Dynamic Directory

‍The directory and organizational chart are now linked to the M365 Active Directory, eliminating monthly manual PDF maintenance.

A Key Local Distribution Player

Vialis is a Local Distribution Company (ELD) based in Alsace, operating from two sites (Colmar and Neuf-Brisac). With nearly 300 employees, the company manages energy distribution (electricity, gas), telecom services, and public lighting. Its mission is to maintain a strong spirit of proximity and local service for its customers, making internal communication essential for field teams.

The Urgency of Digital Transformation

Before the project, Vialis used an intranet running on an old version of Drupal, described as "very aging" and aesthetically uninviting. Information was unclear and often dispensed in large blocks, making the search arduous ("X sub-menu"). The system was not at all mobile-adapted, effectively excluding a large portion of field collaborators. The contribution process was also highly complicated, centralized by the communications department, leading to low adoption and poor information transmission. The main challenge was to standardize tools, improve the digital maturity level of the 300 employees, and streamline internal communication, all while having an urgent need to deploy this platform quickly.

Jint: The “All-in-one” Solution

After quickly reaching the limits of native SharePoint, Vialis sought an "all-in-one" solution to consolidate all its needs. The choice of Jint was compelling due to its native integration and its ability to provide ready-to-use modules such as the application launcher and the dynamic directory. The Contribution Center was perceived as a significant value-add, enabling departmental autonomy. The objective was to use a solution that was easily maintainable and scalable over time, avoiding costly custom development, and ensuring the intranet was accessible everywhere, notably via Teams.

"A key specificity was successfully deploying this platform without an external integrator. We did it using internal resources. We chose Jint because it provides a reliable, all-in-one solution that avoids costly custom development, making the system easy to maintain and evolve over time."
