In short
Jint Insiders is an invitation-only program that gives you access to our products before release. In practice: what you see ahead of release stays confidential until it ships, you use dummy data only in our test space, your sessions in that space are recorded so we can see where things break, and a feature delivered early may change or be pulled. Nothing here changes your contract with Jint.
The details follow.
1. What the program is
You can visit the Jint sites without having to communicate any personal data concerning Jint Insiders brings together a small group of customers who take part in building our products, in two ways — either or both:
- Testing prototypes: a test space hosted by Jint, where you get your hands on features that don't exist yet. Your Microsoft 365 environment is never involved.
- Getting new features early: features enabled in your environment, in production, ahead of general release.
Taking part is voluntary and free of charge, and can end at any time by writing to contact@jint.co.
2. Confidentiality
hat you see before it becomes public stays between us: no screenshots, demos or descriptions outside your organization without our written consent.
This does not cover anything already public, or anything a legal or regulatory obligation requires you to disclose. Once the program has been announced publicly, you may state that you're a member.
For each item covered, the obligation ends when that item is publicly released.
3. Data in the test space
The test space contains dummy data only. It is neither designed nor secured to handle real data — no content, no directory, no documents, no personal data, whether it relates to your organization, your employees or your customers.
You undertake not to place any real data in it. If it happens by mistake, report it to contact@jint.co and we will delete it.
4. Session measurement and recording
To understand where users get stuck, sessions in the test space are measured and recorded.
- Scope: the test space only. Measurement does not follow you into your Microsoft 365 environment, or anywhere else on the web.
- What is recorded: clicks, navigation and input, excluding password fields.
- Data controller: Jint.
- Legal basis: your consent, collected at sign-up and withdrawable at any time.
- Processor and hosting: PostHog (PostHog Cloud EU), within the European Union.
- Retention: 24 months.
- Your rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, at any time at contact@jint.co.
Anyone you designate as a tester must be informed of this recording before their first access. It is your responsibility to inform them.
Full details of our processing and of your rights are set out in our privacy policy. You may lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority.
5. Early access to new features
A feature delivered early may be unstable, change significantly, or be pulled before general release. That's the trade-off for getting it first.
- Early access can be switched off at any time, without leaving the program.
- Any issue goes through your usual support channel, flagged "Insiders".
- Licenses, billing and service levels remain governed exclusively by your contract. No early-access feature falls within the scope of our service commitments, and its future availability is not guaranteed.
6. Your feedback
What you tell us as part of the program — feedback, suggestions, bug reports — we may use without restriction or compensation to improve our products, including after you leave the program.
This gives us no rights over your data, your content or your intellectual property.
7. Public credit
If you agree to it, Jint may name your organization and use its logo as a program member: release notes, readouts, program pages.
- Without that agreement, the mention stays anonymous ("a partner in our Insiders program").
- Only grant it if you have authority to do so on behalf of your organization.
- It can be withdrawn at any time for future communications, without being able to remove what has already been published.
8. Data collected at sign-up
The sign-up form collects your first name, last name, work email, role and the products you want to take part in.
- Purpose: managing your participation in the program and contacting you about it.
- Legal basis: performance of steps taken at your request before you join the program, then our legitimate interest in running it.
- Recipients: the Jint teams involved, and our processor HubSpot, within its European infrastructure.
- Retention: 3 years from our last contact.
This data is neither sold nor passed to third parties for commercial purposes.
9. Leaving the program
You can leave at any time, without giving a reason, by writing to contact@jint.co. Your access is then removed. Two things survive your departure: your confidentiality undertaking on anything not yet public, and our right to use the feedback you have already given us.
Jint may end a member's participation, or the program itself, at any time.
10. Changes to these rules
We may update these rules. We'll tell you by email about any substantial change, and the version that applies to you is the one in force on the date you signed up — stated in your confirmation.
